De bruker timevis på regnestykker i hverdagen, men det er kun i emnet Moderne verkstedteknikk at studentene får se om moment-utregningen gjør at vinhylla de har sveiset, henger som den skal på veggen.

USA vil straffe land som stemmer for en internasjonal karbonskatt på skipsfart gjennom FNs internasjonale sjøfartsorganisasjon (IMO). Norge mottok trusler om straff fra USA i august.
