For #fishmas check out this Bluefin Tuna vertebra from a site on west coast of Vancouver Island, Toquaht First Nation, ca. 1000 years old. Bluefin were very occasional inshore visitors, identified by their bioluminescent wake, hunted at night. 🏺🐟#25DaysOfFishmas @iainmckechnie.bsky.social
