Overall, they are great.

That's a good question I don't know the answer to, but I would think there is. Why say you can only bring 30 to camp, but allow you to have 35 signed in the off-season?

Yes, but even doing that for a player you don't intend to play costs you the opportunity to sign a player you might actually dress.

I am sure it's not a "good" contract, but it's still a contract for a spot on a team in a league where a lot of good players are on the outside looking in.

I just don't understand why they like him so much they re-signed him after not even dressing him while they had him signed last season and they were getting little to no production from the left.

Why re-sign a player you signed last year and didn't dress for a single game?
