Kindergartener came to aftercare the other day after having watched Hocus Pocas and getting freaked out. Wanted to know if witches are real. I try to always be honest with the kids, and I know a lot of pagans… I told her the kind that turn kids into cats are *not* real, and any I’ve met are nice.

Watching the AHSs Backrooms episode. It’s really disappointing when traditional media tries to do something from unfiction/creepypasta and just *totally* misses the point. It would have been better if it was just its own story, and wasn’t trying to capitalize on the popularity of the Backrooms.

Being a fan of your work, and seeing you be really open about having postpartum depression has actually helped me be a lot less scared of getting it if I ever have kids. I only knew what I’d seen on TV where it’s shown to make moms not connect properly with their kids. But your love is undeniable. 💕

So I just found out Glee and American Horror Story had the same showrunner. 😮 Ryan Murphy was *also* the showrunner for a couple other shows I’ve really liked, including Scream Queens and Pose. I had no idea they were all made by the same guy!

So then I suggested she could *also* pretend to be in love with Girl 1, and then they could *all* be in love with her together! \o/

She wasn’t having that either. 😂

I sat down with Girl 2, tried to explain it wasn’t personal, it’s just both boys know Girl 1 a lot better than Girl 2, and probably felt uncomfortable playing ‘in love’ with a girl they don’t know well. She only cared about how left out it made *her* feel.

2 girls and 2 boys were being animals of some kind. Boy 1 said he’d be in love with Girl 1, and Boy 2 should be in love with Girl 2. Boy 2 said he’d wanted to be in love with Girl 1 also. Girl 2 stormed off to cry in a corner.

I will say, though, @drawfeeshow.com I can’t believe y’all didn’t use the prompt generator on Kid Pix for your drawings! I really would love to see you guys do another Kid Pix episode where you each make something based on those. I just love the way it says “— and I rock the house!”

@drawfeeshow.com did an episode playing Kid Pix, and now I’ve fallen down a nostalgia rabbit hole of old games from when I was a kid. Thinking of hunting down and buying/downloading a bunch of them this weekend. I’m remembering so many I’d forgotten, too!

I originally got the Sailor Moon outfit to teach the little girls about the show and teach them they can be pretty princesses *and* super tough superheroes at the same time.

So I have 2 Halloween costumes in my closet and I’ve been debating which one to wear this year. I have a Sailor Moon costume, and a skeleton kigurumi. The Sailor Moon outfit is more impressive, but it’s hard to work all day as a preschool teacher in high-heeled gogo boots, a short skirt, and wig.

If he can’t mundane-ly manipulate people into loving him, and he can’t (or is at least unwilling to) straight-up Dominate them (which he absolutely has as his strongest Discipline), then he transforms *himself* to become whatever he thinks they most desire.

He’s obsessive, possessive, controlling, and manipulative. His comfort zone is strict adherence to tradition and/or rules. But he also has no real sense of or loyalty to his own identity.

I’m all caught up on IWtV, and just saw the S3 teaser yesterday (so excited!). Here’s my VtM-fan thoughts.

Most everyone agrees Louis and Lestat are Toreador. I’ve heard sometimes *all* the IWtV characters are. I disagree, though. I think Armand is Tzimisce. Specifically V5 and/or Old World Tzim.

I just had a *very* involved dream that ran an entire mostly-coherent plotline *and then came back for a sequel the following year*! Also it was all vampire LARP. :D

A little girl said something the other day I can’t get out of my head. She was playing some superpower pretend game with friends, and kept going up to people, putting her hands out and shouting “Michael power!” I didn’t get it until her friend said “Great job, Micro Princess!”

I just remembered overhearing a kid crying at his lunch table yesterday and yelling about how he was gone pee his pants, and I’m not sure if he was scared he might not make it across the classroom to the bathroom, or if he mad and threatening to do it on purpose…
