Personal AI agent that, when provided a company name/ticker, searches Google for the latest news and financial information and prepares an easy-to-digest report - www.alaminshaikh.com/agents/biz-i...

Helps me conduct company research, primarily to identify potential investment opportunities.
Customer-facing AI agents can qualify leads, update CRM, upsell, downsell, and obviously chat/talk.

Business/personal agents can gather information from different sources and generate reports with useful insights.

I build these types of agents. Let me know if you need one!
I think AI and Robotics will replace a lot of jobs. The best ways to offset the effects on the individual level are:
- learn the skills to work with these techs
- invest in the companies that make them
I've built an AI agent that chats using my knowledge base, uses tools to access my calendar and book events, while providing strategic guidance to solve tech challenges - www.alaminshaikh.com/agents/alter...

Alter Ego Chat Agent
This AI agent chats as my direct alter ego, checks my calendar, and books events for users using integrated tools.

I started investing in 2025. My portfolio is up 19% YTD and I just learned that lump sump > EDCA > buy the dip

- Investing a 1000 lump sum always wins
- Extended DCA means you buy more during the dip
- Waiting for the dip is the worst as the market often goes up than down
AI agents can dramatically improve the user experience, i.e, instead of browsing hundreds of products to find a fit for the summer vacation, I'd like to give my preference to a chatbot and get the relevant products. It saves so much time.

If you need such agents, I can build!
Have been using this free break reminder app for a while. Regular small breaks help my eyes ease and my body relax with increased blood flow.

#deskdetour
So if you are willing to sponsor, support, or partner with me to distribute the Desk Detour app, I'd love to hear from you. Please shoot me a message if interested.

Check out the app here 👇https://deskdetour.com/
What I need help with is the code-signing cost and process. Since this is a completely FREE app, it's tough to bear the cost alone. To make things harder, the Apple Developer Program isn't available in my country.
I need help with a FREE desktop app I built for Mac and Windows. It notifies you every 20 and 60 minutes to look 20 feet further for 20 seconds and move for 2 minutes, respectively.

The goal is to improve the vision and overall health of people working long time on computers.
The most on-point explanation of Vibe Coding I have heard so far - youtu.be/bjh7EYdFTo4?...

Always admired Bard for this kind of stuff. Have learned a lot from this guy.
I Tried Vibe Coding - Here Are My Thoughts

I’ve now memorized the 52-week high of all the stocks and ETFs I’m interested in. Thanks to the tariff.

Also, I’ve quickly learned that knowing what’s going on and being patient is the best thing investors must do to profit the most during times like this.
How do you guys build Electron apps? For the last 3 days, I’ve been trying to build a distributable for Windows from a Mac.

Nothing works. Except yesterday, I got the Zip Maker working. But I want the full installation experience in Windows using Squirrel.

Any thoughts?
Used Cursor and got it fixed under 2 minutes 🤯. Windows build is now working!
Tried installing Mono and Wine on Mac and adding their paths to .zshrc file. Still get the error: "You must install both Mono and Wine on non-Windows"
Trying to build an Electron app for Windows since the morning and getting this stupid error.

The app builds and runs perfectly on Mac though. Any idea?

Yesterday, I tried vibe coding a little bit. It’s fun and great for prototyping.

However, I feel very uncomfortable pushing the AI-generated code to production for any business dealing with personal data.

I think vibe coding will increase the demand for cybersecurity experts.
In the last 5 months, I’ve spent a couple hundred hours and shipped 3 products (another to be launched soon) any of which is yet to make a sale.

The lack of validation/recognition often shatters my spirit. How do you handle this situation?
Happy to announce that DevCoach is still at $0 MRR 🎉
I still write most of my code. Brainstorming the problems and writing the solution in code is what gives me the pleasure. I'll stick to this habit as long as I can.
I am freelancing and building small apps in the hope that one day I'll work fully on my terms.
