Photo dump of the weekend long game of "Not Quatre Bras" round Des'. A cracking time spent with proper mates playing with beautiful kit.

Only fly in the ointment was the utter twatting we received from our opponents as they gave us a lesson in Napoleonic combined arms!
Just finished this off. Half rebased figures, half newly painted.

Adler 6mm French Napoleonic Line Infantry 1re Btln, based for my rules as usual.

Also did similar with a battalion of Lützow Freikorp but they will be replaced with Turner 3d prints so sort of half arsed them, plus more limbers.
Ooh, that's rather a cracking idea.

Looks great too. 👍
I'm not going to feel sorry for you! Looks ace.
Looking forward to seeing this develop. 😀👍
Did anyone else have these?

I was given loads by my dad when I was a kid. Admittedly I didn't really read the info but spent hours poring over the cracking illustrations.
Enjoy your holiday mate. Looks lovely.
Fantastic stuff mate, hopefully we will get to see them on the table soon?
Hope you both have a cracking time and the game goes over well (I'm sure it will as they are a cracking set of rules).
Many thanks Von P, your lovely kit has been an inspiration for ages so that's a great compliment. 👍👍
Just finished the basing on the Napoleonic Saxon I/Friedrich August infantry.

Henry Turner Miniatures "made" by me in Blender and printed at about 7/8mm scale.

Based for my own rules.
No I haven't,sorry, but I did print off a lot of WW1 guns & gunners in 6mm for Des' and they came out lovely.

If I was doing WW1 myself I wouldn't hesitate using them, they do print lovely at 10mm so maybe ok at 15?
I've really enjoyed doing it, even though you can only really change a few things, like head and musket/sword position or the kit being carried it's enough to make all your units unique.

I have a couple of units of bought pre printed figures and they just look weird now, all being the same!
I've never added supports, always printed straight onto the plate and never had a fail with them. Cracking figures and a joy to paint.

Some poses and horses have support bits already set up in the STL files if needed though.
I've been tinkering for a while now. The Saxons are all from Blender made files I've done so are all slightly different from each other. Once you realise what you can do it's hard not to do it!

Tons of fun and great to think that the figures you are "making" are unique to you alone.
I've been very quiet as haven't had much to show as I've been beavering away on Blender "making" lots of Napoleonic Westfalians for printing.

However I have managed to finish off a few bits so here's a couple of Austrian limbers plus a Saxon battalion ready for varnish & basing.

6mm Turner prints.
