There are so many conflicting opinions and stories that it's tiring to analyse and try and find the truth in them. So it can be easy to look for one strong voice that seems to offer a simple solution. It seems to me that there are rarely simple solutions to complex problems.

That technique is great for making positive change in a hypnosis session but it can of course have a negative effect in our world of constant information.
Then the session can continue, finding ways to create a positive outcome, whether that's changing a thought, feeling or habit or simply finding relaxation and calmness.
By giving the brain a lot of things to think about it becomes overloaded and eventually being given the option of following simple instructions from the hypnotist to focus on just one thing becomes a welcome relief.
It's something that I often use if someone has a really busy mind and they find it difficult to relax or their mind keeps wandering.
It's #InformationOverloadDay. I think a lot of people find they have information overload every day and it usually has a negative impact. Information overload can have a positive effect though when used in hypnosis.

I have to add this to my list of explanations 😄
If there's a conflict going on your head maybe there is a resolution.

For instance…
I want to feel more confident ↔ I feel really anxious around people
I want to stop smoking ↔ I like smoking
I want to lose weight ↔ Eating makes me feel better
I hate depending on others for lifts ↔ Driving makes me so nervous
I want to eat different foods ↔ Eating new foods is scary

Conflict resolution is usually described as 2 or more parties looking for a constructive solution. But I use hypnosis to help individuals deal with conflict resolution in their own head.

Only 1 study did follow up and after 3 months they found there was still 81% increase over the original size.

They were only small studies with no long term follow up but certainly for those women it was a success (oh and according to her article it was for the Sun reporter too).
Over 12 weeks participants were either given hypnosis sessions either in person or by audio recording with suggestions for breast growth. Their breasts were measured each week and by the end of the study averaged 1.37 - 2.11 inches larger.
In the varied social media world of political commentary you might have seen hypnosis mentioned recently - specifically related to hypnotic breast enlargement and whether or not it is possible.

✅ 3 studies carried out in the 70s reported that it is possible.

This year's theme for #WorldMentalHealthDay is the impact of exposure to the news.

If you post a lot of news links and info please help others and read this.

If you're struggling to smile, try to connect to something that made you smile in the past. 🙂 experiences
🙂 people
🙂 music
🙂 comedy
🙂 photos of you smiling
It's 🙂 #NationalSmileDay 🙂

Studies show that smiling and being around smiling people can improve mood + reduce stress because it triggers your brain to release feel-good hormones.

What has made you smile today?
• I was arguing with myself
• It felt like it was 10 minutes (actually 45)
• My body felt so heavy
• I felt so light

There is no one "right way" to feel in hypnosis and you might experience it differently at different times.
These are the experiences of some of my clients
• I felt really relaxed
• I was aware of what you said some of the time and not at others
• I was aware of everything you said
• My mind drifted a bit
• It really felt like I was in that place
• My body felt really long
What does hypnosis feel like?

That's a tricky one to answer as it can vary depending on the person and the suggestions given. The experience most people can probably relate to is similar to daydreaming, when your mind drifts between different thoughts.

I completely agree and patriarchal misogyny is definitely not my thing! (Some people might want to experiment for other reasons though.) I was really just responding because you said you hadn't heard of it.
