Today we learned that a good friend of ours passed suddenly.
Today is my dad's second round of chemo.
This year's been taking a lot from us all, I know, and I'm feeling extremely beat down. But please just try to love as hard as you can too. I'm trying, I'm trying.

So a uh, little work update from me! Starting today I'm officially stepping up as the Head of Publishing at Panic! I couldn't be more excited for what we've been doing, and will do my best to be a positive influence on where we head next 💖

I am unfortunately prone to melancholy, so looking back on the last year I have an automatic reaction of “trash, bad, 👎” but that’s also just… not totally true?? My mental health might be in the toilet but some objectively very cool things happened!!

A bummer personal update. Unfortunately, we’ve been working to find a new home for Gordon. We realized that he needs more than we can offer him, & has started to develop reactivity and prey drive towards the cats. We’re first-time adult dog owners, and are frankly out of our depths with his needs.
