I'm still not done with combining sailor moon #aesthetic with french impressionism. This is my newest attempt: It's the poppies by Monet with Tokyo in the background. I wanted it to be vibrant despite also being a night scene.

I painted these to decide which I like more–gouache, pastel watercolors, or regular watercolor.

The verdict? Still couldn't choose. 😆 I love them all. I guess I'll have to decide based on my mood everytime.

Normally, I would've used a yellow, but I limited myself here. The only color near yellow in this palette is called 'Peach' from White Knights watercolors. And fortunately, it looks yellow and light enough when used with other colors. Irl, it doesn't look yellow but it can pass off as yellow. 😅

I find the idea of a kid and a big cat meeting each other with a glass in between them adorable. Isn’t it cute?
I first did this on procreate but I love traditional art so I couldn’t skip it.

I was expecting to fail at this, but I didn't, WOW and YAY! This was done with watercolors using only the primary colors because I love those trio so much. You can pry it from my cold, dead hands. XD
