"Somewhere between science & superstition."

This is the second time I've had to upload this, either Bsky or LB keep removing the link. This is the piece of writing I'm most proud of and the one closest to my heart.

Week 3, Day 4: Theme - Non-Western Horror

#NowWatching

'The Hour of the Wolf'. 1968 (Ingmar Bergman)

Nothing to do with Lycanthropy - yet is to do with psychological mania, & mental malady. Sweden's master of darkness creates a chilling atmosphere of claustrophobic dread.
Likewise and I in fact have a copy of this documentary. What he went through was just mind boggling and the fact he managed to come out the other side gives you a clear indicator to the strength of his character.
Guys of his ilk only have one motive and one plan of action: to illicit either a sexual response from a woman, or to lure photos out of her. It's a neanderthal mindset, sad & desperate.
It's such a blast and I agree with re Hodder. Really need to read his autobiography soon.
You can tell with these idiots they haven't a shred of decency or common sense either. The world grows steadily thicker by the year and it's the sense of immediate entitlement, not to mention gall to think they have a right to demand.
That's a cool idea. I know a few collectors that love those TV cuts with added or differing scenes. Cheers again pal. 👊🤘

Today's Film Article: A vintage scan from my collection. Friday The 13th: Part 3 in 3D 😎⛏️
Either, although I wasn't aware of the Scream Factory release had that cut on it. Thank you. 🙏😊
Complete agree, it's an underdeveloped effort and the whole message of the film is very much "Well Duh". Anyone who hasn't cottoned on that women are tossed aside past a certain must of been living under a rock for years.
Absolutely! I love Werewolf films too.

I Was a Teenage Werewolf, is a fun watch, and The Curse of the Werewolf with Oliver Reed is worth a go.
I know what you mean. 🖤 Keep going as best you can. 🙏
I've been after this disc for years and so far come up short. Digitally it can found online no problem, however nothing beats a physical copy.
Any help is always valued. 🎃🧡🙏
Been there for several days now. 🕷️🖤
Rather a house with a few resident arachnids, over germ ridden flies any day of the week. 🥰
Thank you Tosha. I've had it off years and most of the time I can tune it out to a degree.

How are you doing?
Poxy things!!!😤 It seems like no matter how careful you are, they get you every time! 😂

Enjoying going through my horror related soundtracks currently - finding things I'd clearly forgotten I'd bought.

Ooooof, bloody hell!! My eye sight isn't too good either 😂, is that rose foliage?
Bless your heart mate, you're a good soul. ✨🖤😊🙏📝
There's a lesson right here but I guess Rena will have to figure it out.
Thank you Graham. 😊Yet another side effect of chemo drugs.
Cheers mate, I do appreciate that input. 👊🤘Still having no luck with anyone answering my emails though? 🫤

Halloween got you hungry for Hammer? Then come and have a Taste of Fear.

This totally twisted thriller stars Susan Strasberg and Christopher Lee in the tale of an heiress plagued by terrifying visions!

"The best film Hammer ever made." - Christopher Lee
