I want to play it because of the story :)
I first tried it on Game Pass, but I recently bought it (it was on a big sale), planning to give it another shot. This time I’ll try playing during the day — maybe that’ll help :)
I thought V Rising was mostly an ARPG, but I guess there are some survival elements in it.
I played the Resident Evil 2 demo when I was a kid, and it was pretty okay. But then something must have gone wrong with me, and I turned into a scaredy-cat. I recently tried SOMA and couldn’t handle it. But I want to give it another try...
A really good offer. If I could play horror games, I would definitely get the subscription.
V Rising is apparently good too.
And Yakuza is amazing, but I’ve already played that one.
It was a long journey, but I got to Act 3 in Silksong and I’m completely amazed. It feels crazy that Team Cherry hid something like that after the credits. An incredible game, even though it’s really hard for me—the longer I play it, the more I love it.

Master of Piece
So far my favorite. A visually appealing roguelite deckbuilder that made me want to start another run immediately after finishing one. At first, it felt a bit too easy, but the boss absolutely crushed me. Added to my wishlist.

Hermit and Pig
A turn-based RPG with pleasant visuals and brilliantly written dialogue. I highly recommend trying the demo just for the writing—it's fun. The combat wasn’t particularly impressive to me, but it does offer a wide range of customization options.

Hermit and Pig on Steam
Hermit and Pig is a story-rich, turn-based RPG where you fend off wild assailants, forage mushrooms, survive social anxiety, and stumble into a corporate conspiracy with your trusty pig.

Next Fest impressions:

REANIMAL
It stands out mainly for its visuals and atmosphere; I really liked the character animations. I played in co-op, the shared camera worked well, but I found the use of cooperation and the originality of the puzzles somewhat weak.

Thanks for the detailed review — especially the part about the narrative, which was more positive than it usually is in reviews, made me happy. I still haven’t gotten around to Yotei yet (so many games, too little time), but I definitely plan to fix that.
And Persona Phantom X - Some activities (like exploring dungeons) don’t control all that well for me, but the combat feels completely fine.
I fought Bayle without him (I messed up the quest). In the next playthrough, I have to fix that!
Slice & Dice – an absolute hit, it has portrait mode on mobile and plays excellently. I recommend it (not just) to fans of Slay the Spire, Balatro and similar games. Warning: it’s just as addictive.
Valor Mortis test impression – it’s fine, but I have an issue with the 1st person view. Sometimes I had trouble noticing enemies coming from the side. Otherwise, it played well, with a satisfying parry and something like Bloodborne’s rally. Visually nice, gore fans will enjoy it.
I died a lot.
I’m in Chapter 2 of FF Tactics and it feels like the hardest tRPG I’ve played so far. Yasumi Matsuno clearly has a thing for complex game systems... but it’s absolutely brilliant.
Today I read this article from 2013, and imo it’s the best game guide on the internet :D

Man, Final Fantasy Tactics Sure Had A Steep Learning Curve - Kotaku
Earlier this week, I talked to some game developers about why they love Final Fantasy Tactics. But beloved or not, man, does this game have a steep

I made it to the top of the mountain today! Considering that just two weeks ago I couldn’t even land a single pogo jump, I’m pretty proud of how far I’ve come.
The platforming in Silksong is super hard for me and takes forever, but that just makes it even more satisfying when I finally pull it off.
They are (at least the ones I’ve played :)). Tactics is, of course, quite different in terms of gameplay compared to the mainline FF games, but I’m hoping the story will be just as interesting — I’m still too early to tell though.
I've completed a few missions, and it's awesome, even though it's still pretty easy so far. But it looks beautiful. I bought it on the Switch, so I'm saving most of it for an upcoming trip.
I played only the OG, but I totally agree, the ending is insane. It definitely goes onto my (imaginary) list of top cliffhangers in video games.
Silksong, but I’m most looking forward to FF Tactics, which I hope I’ll finally get into properly this weekend.
I like it a lot, though I’m realizing that playing as a bad guy doesn’t really sit well with me. My Arthur is as good-hearted as possible, but sometimes the game forces me to do things that don’t feel great. What I absolutely love, though, is just spending time in the nature.
RDR2 (that’s especially why I don’t want to start Yotei, I don’t want to play two open-worlds at the same time...),
Silksong, Mario Wonder, Portal 2 co-op, and today I should finally get to FF Tactics. And also Persona Phantom X.
Beautiful shots, it looks amazing. I really like how it focuses more on stylization/artistic impression rather than realism.
I definitely plan to play it, but I already have so many games in progress that I’ll have to put it off for later.
One of the games I envied PS1 owners the most. It finally arrived 😊.
I may already have four games in progress, but a fifth one is about to be added.
