Dario Argento's Phenomena (1985) vs Hifumi Kono's #survivalhorror game Clock Tower (1995), which is directly inspired by Argento's #giallo.

Clock Tower was recently released by @limitedrungames.com - and it has aged quite well: a #slasher version of Maniac Mansion.
