New blog: SEND is shaping more boardroom discussions than ever. Rising need, stretched services and tight budgets are putting the system under strain, but reform is finally on the horizon. NGA takes stock of what boards are seeing and what must change.

#UKEdGovs - a good new initiative but I don't know how much this costs.
The Governors’ Gateway has launched!

We’re delight to share a new learning platform built for the realities of school governance.

It’s the brainchild of @catherinepriggs.bsky.social and we know it will be so helpful for governors.

#UKEdGovs So great to see Dr Sarah Chung graduate - the focus of her research is school governance (training in particular)
I had such a wonderful day at my graduation. With great thanks to both Dr @nicolasm70.bsky.social and Prof. Celia Greenway - my supervisors extraordinaire!

#ResearchAdvent Day 10 Methodology I wanted to raise the voices of governors in my research. I also wanted to use the authoritative knowledge of experienced chairs to inform my survey. So my research uses a social constuctionist approach. It's been enjoyable and in the early stages collaborative.
