#70DaysofPhD Well, that was a useful exercise. Reading through my research journal y'day has given me a list to follow up - references I jotted down and yet to read, thoughts on data that I've failed to capitalise on, pages that will be good appendices for thesis. Today? Act on this list #PhDSky

With professionalism - whatever we may think of it, the reality is that it has to be done! Governors have a part to play and must use the opportunity to tell a strong story about our important role in schools. #UKEdGovs #Governance

#70DaysofPhD Today I'm going to read back over my research journal to follow the trail of how my ideas over the data have evolved. I'm trying to do something every day to make great progress on my #PhD Walking that long path #PhDSky #EdD Join me?

Thankyou - yes, let's turn it into a positive. ❤️ It was certainly fantastic being with our son, who we haven't seen for 6 months.

Ok, admitting my first fail in #70DaysofPhD I didn't really do anything yesterday but had a lovely walk, lunch, & supper with my son in Oslo. Today I will do better & have already kicked it off with some thinking with my morning cup of tea. Will jot some notes in my research diary. #PhDSky #EdD

#70DaysofPhD Another thinking and note taking day yesterday, and planning the same today. Lots of prep for a big writing session next week. I'm trying to do something every day to make a big push along that #PhD road.

#70DaysofPhD I snatched time to read a useful article and spent time thinking about how the ideas applied to my data. A useful short session that I am going to continue thinking about today. Trying to fo something everyday to climb that #PhD mountain. Join.me? #PhDSky #EdD

Our National Parks are at risk. ⚠️

From the rugged Lakes to the sweeping South Downs, these landscapes define us and our future. They sustain wildlife, communities and our wellbeing - and they must be protected.

A future that puts them at risk isn't what anyone voted for.
A scenic view of a National Park landscape with a winding stone path leading through green hills and valleys under soft sunlight. In the centre of the image, bold black text on a red-and-black hazard-striped background reads: “DON’T WEAKEN NATIONAL PARK PROTECTIONS.” Below it, in white text, is the hashtag “#NationalParksMatter.”

Excellent letter from the Bishop of Birmingham to Robert Jenrick.

At a time when so many other voices have been silent, the bishops have been admirably outspoken against attempts to stir up division.

The churches do a lot of community cohesion work & do not want to see this trashed for party gain.

Hadn't realised lots of trusts were no longer prescribing gluten-free food for coeliac kids.

My son is coeliac and his food is so much more expensive. We don't get on prescription because we can afford it but for a family in poverty that's a massive issue.
