ANYWAY that's also why i feel like atsu early on in ghost of yotei is very much herja coded. lots of anger and hate and not much else motivating her and a complete disregard for her own life. their arcs are similar in that they Found A Reason To Live but herja's had more

i do get sad when people say DT sucks like it's not perfect but i feel a lot themes like loss, grief, family expectations, the burden of legacy from said expectations and diaspora, etc hit really hard for People That Have Experienced Those Things
