We mourn the loss of Director Al Bertrand, who passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025, after a brief and sudden illness. He is deeply missed and remembered for the strong legacy he leaves for the Press as well as his kindness, good humour, and love of books.

🚨NEW🚨: Donald Trump is attempting to strip away federal support for libraries. We will NOT let that happen.

Last night the President signed an order to gut the Institute of Museum & Library Services. But together, we know we can show up & defeat it.
