Something can be retold and “overused” and still hit you in all the right ways if it’s executed well.

A trope is just a narrative tool; a pattern, a shape of story. And like any tool, it can be used beautifully… or terribly.

A well-executed trope, even if it seems overdone, can still feel fresh, moving, and deeply resonant because the art of the craft itself is there.
