AI doesn't need to be zero sum. "Demand response" is one such example. ⚡

By partnering with our electric suppliers, we are able to unlock more capacity AND respond to local demand spikes. It's a win-win!

🥇 I am so happy to see the Google DeepMind Gemini team **OFFICIALLY** achieved gold-medal performance.

Not only did we get 5 out of 6 questions correct. What's more amazing is the official IMO graders find those answers to be clear, precise and easy to follow! 1/

Personal view: The UK is too small a country to compete with the US and China on its own. 100k AI chips by 2030 is uncompetitive. We need to work with our EU friends if we really want to be "AI makers and not AI takers". #RejoinEU 🇬🇧🇪🇺

Terrorism is stupid but this one is extra. The event the couple attended was an inter-faith effort to send humanitarian aid to innocent Palestinians. Now Netanyahu will use this as a cover to hit Gaza harder.😢

I failed to post this last week, but it’s one of the best op-eds you’ll read all year. Two politicians with *wildly* different orientations but a common thread of belief in the nature of citizenship and nationality. (They’re also 100% right obvs.)

I am saddened by protesters against Israel's entry for #Eurovision.

Israel is not Russia. Israel didn't start the war. More importantly, most Israelis (68%) wants a hostage deal that will end the war.

If we want peace, protest against Netanyahu, not Israel.

a) it's short term pain for long term gain,

🇨🇦 Canadian friends. No matter what Pierre Poilievre said, Trump will interpret every vote for the Conservatives as a vote for Canada to become the 51st state.

If you value your independence, voting Liberal is the only way.

Good luck,

This is how I felt when the UK chose Brexit and then again when we elected Boris Johnson...
It’s still hard to believe the simple fact that this is all self-imposed. Everything that’s happening right now wasn’t the result of some foreign adversary destroying the country. We did this all to ourselves by electing the dumbest motherfucker to ever rule a nation.
