It seems pointless to fact check someone saying "curry isn't proper British food like fish and chips", just like it's futile to correct someone saying "there are no pronouns in the Bible". They haven't made a mistake. What they're saying is, "Britain is a white country".

Many of them, in my experience, lived through the 70s with the strikes, three day weeks and power cuts. I recall when New Labour got elected in 97, one of my colleagues in the Co-Op I worked in predicted doom & gloom and a return to frivolous strikes due to the win.

Had a nightmare about my school trauma. I thought going out might clear my head, but by the time I got back from the centre, it had turned into a proper PTSD flashback. If anyone needs me I'll be under a blanket for the foreseeable.

Stumbled across this old photo from the making of The Invasion and thought it looked like a great album cover.
