In the end, I think that’s what I like about him. He’s self aware that he’s an asshole, but he’d rather be one than face his issues head on.

On a side note He IS hot and well-written, so don’t worry I know how it feels 😭 I’ve been in love with the man for a while now,, I hope you tried DeSu 2 too!

He can’t be open, he can’t forgive himself, he can’t ask for Abel’s forgiveness. Otherwise, he probably would fall apart, and he’s aware of it. (see, just helping Abel give Okuninushi the middle finger in law route seemed to have stirred some sort of change in him, and he HATES it.)

Tbh. Naoya not only projects on himself, he basically is powered by hatred and self-hatred: if he admits he wants forgiveness, he’d “lose”, and the guy’s so prideful he tanked two thousand years and would rather fistfight God.
