Around 2pm EST, the island of Manhattan disappeared

Officials were baffled, how could a 13 mile long island with 4 million people on it just vanish into thin air?

Unbeknownst to me, it appeared on the floor, vastly shrunken down, by the packing station at my job

Some soldiers sneak micros out of the base when they go home for vacations or holidays

Specks are considered contraband, since they have no chance of surviving in a world of real men who would likely neither see them nor care for them

The usual spot to smuggle them out was in their underwear

It's common before bed, as most soldiers want to rid the barracks of the pests so they can get a good nights sleep

Nothing more annoying than waking up with a bunch of little specks climbing all over you

It's unreal just how many get swept into soldiers' boots when they go out for runs

They simply can't tell at their size, I'd feel bad for them if I felt sympathy for dust particles

What makes it more pathetic is that the military is stationed there for the micros' protection
