Exactly one year ago, the Trump admin began a full-scale attack on refugees and immigrants in the U.S. and around the world. One that cost countless lives and dismantled critical protections.

But from day one, we have organized, adapted, and taken action in courts and communities worldwide:

Recent U.S. policy changes, combined with the shrinking availability of pathways in Mexico, have left many migrants stranded.

For some, return becomes a last resort.

Our teams are still there to provide support to those who need it most, adapting our response in times of uncertainty:

The fight isn't over: it's clear that our voices matter, so we need to keep the pressure on Congress. Tell them more funding for ICE doesn't make anyone stronger or safer — it only creates an atmosphere of fear and violence.

Alex Pretti was an ICU nurse. Renee Good was a writer and a mother. Both were murdered on the street by immigration enforcement officers.

They were neighbors, community members — people who were exercising their First Amendment rights. And now they're gone.

As we emerge from Shabbat, we are enraged by the news of yet another shooting in Minneapolis.

Immigration enforcement continues to terrorize and brutalize entire communities. It is long past time for accountability.

Even in our grief, we will never stop fighting for a better world.
