Lot of field goals. Not complaining. Still rooting for the Seahawks obviously. Just really putting the foot in football.

It could almost be a really fun vlog design honestly. Each email is a blog and the sidebar is sectioned off. Anyway I love it, good job haha.

Oh I love this idea. Great job dude.

🔥A couple of releases today! 🔥

New sprite kit tunnel/runner game: apps.apple.com/us/app/taptu...

And to make the screenshots I open sourced my little tool that I used to make them. Open to PRs if you want more sizes supported too. github.com/ryleyherring...

While reading that I went through a mini version of the same coaster. 😅

Going between being happy for kids, to reading about another awful ICE news story, to focusing on work related items, back to news, back to kids, back to work. It’s draining. And if you give up they win. But it’s just so taxing. 😪

It’s a completely different paradigm tbh. It’s not like a regular layout or update system so it took a bit of learning. Tiling is different but it makes sense now. Worth it for a fun subject, not sure what to do next but this is at least a fun little game to start out. 😅

Finally read Paul Hudsons book about sprite kit that I bought back in 2018 and upgraded my tunnel game. Anyone is welcome to try it here, but it's just a love letter to the old ti83 game I used to play (with some added fun things like ipad keyboard support haha). testflight.apple.com/join/TR72aucv

Hahah that reaction time! I feel so official having my own domain associated with it now.

Oh that was awesome. Loved the light rail idea.

Watching Alex Honnold climb a 1667 foot tall skyscraper in Taipei right now live and it’s a weird concept. He’s a great climber but the stakes don’t make sense to me. Especially for Netflix to support it live. #skyscraperLive

There are 1000 app store screen creators but I thought I could make a really simple one for my really simple apps and the corner radius with the device outline is killing meeee

Oh no, another update. Letter Linker has a new daily puzzle feature. Minor update, but now the web version daily game matches the app version. 😌 #indiedev #ios #wordgame

RunRev 3.2 is out with a new month and year view of all activities. Really needed a new medium widget to show the month’s progress since I’m running a little less. #indiedev #ios #running

Kind of have to thank bento box for leaving because that's what caused me to actually do it. I copied their card ui on my main page, but then I made a blog and some live pages too. Example: herringtonhq.com/blog/SpotSavor

One of my goals was to finally make a website for all my apps, side projects, etc. 3 weeks into the year and I did it (it wasn't that bad; mostly just migrating from free hosting via github pages haha).

Next up is to learn how to make an app on atproto. Read too many blogs to not at least try.

And a little guilt trip if/when you don’t. 😅

It doesn’t end. Ketchup and applesauce happens. Waffles with peanut butter and salsa. Followed by “yummmmm” every time. 🤦‍♂️

Summer vs winter in roughly the same spot, central Oregon is the most relaxing place in the world for me. I love it.

Hopping in to say it’s pretty easy to set up a shortcut to do this.

This looks great. Good use of learning the reasoning and not just memorizing it.

Agreed. I think the ecosystem would exist if we could customize our watch faces in the same way as Pebble did, that’s all.

However, part of its success is likely due to its openness to hacking. Wish Nike had let us hack the fuel band back in the day too like Pebble.

I look forward to your take!

Paging @chriswu.com haha. The most vocal among us for wanting fun watch faces.

Refactored the tab bar into an air hockey ui type of interaction for the app I made my kids. This way I can add more games. It’s fun for them when they get a little screen time #ios #swiftui #indiedev
