Canceled my ChatGPT Plus subscription, about a month sooner than expected.

Claude Pro continues to be a much more pleasant experience for me vs UncannyValleyGPT.

It also helps that Anthropic seems to take a more thoughtful, long term approach to AI Safety and Impact.

My Local LLM journey officially kicks off this weekend! It’s been something of interest to me for a while now and being able to embark on this journey has me beyond excited.

I do have a dedicated PC in the works (more on that later), but right now will work with what I have - an M4 Mac Mini. 1/2

NEWS: Apple and Google are reportedly building a custom Gemini model to power Siri

Apple would pay Google $1 billion per year as part of the arrangement. Wow.

anyone else seeing the overlap between #Apple ecosystem adherents and people who prefer #Claude over #ChatGPT?

my anecdotal experience - people invested in the ecosystem might lament the lack of quality Apple integration, but still prefer Claude.

Move from ChatGPT to Claude has been positive so far.

Early, but what I enjoy more with Claude is its:

1) Tone & Style - less of a jumble of sycophantic buzz words unlike ChatGPT

2) Interface - not a fan at first, but the colors & font have grown on me

More to come.

A designated alarm clock ensures that you kick off the day with intention. Though I’m an adherent to #minimalism where possible, I’d prefer delaying looking at my phone in the morning. Even if it is “just” to turn off the alarm.

Been hard to find clocks I enjoy. Meet our first candidate. #apple

One of my favorite pieces of “tech” remains a paperback book. Easy to bring along, relaxing way to fill empty spots on your daily calendar, great for the soul.

As I have gotten back on a reading kick, decided to give #bookwyrm a go. Will post my experience with it as a newbie over coming weeks.
