I thought it would be cool to watch the crew of your airship live. Used ExcaliburJS + LDtk to build this (ugly and tiny 😭) airship + our navigator. LDtk is really fun to use, amazing software. Sadly, I am terrible at making it look good. Any good resources for building pretty 2D levels? #gamedev

From vibe coding prototypes on the left to actual implementations on the right. Uses www.inklestudios.com/ink/ as a DSL that gets parsed on the fly in the browser. Hopefully that allows me to use their dialogue editor/other tooling in the future, plus it is just text (good versioning, LLMs) #gamedev

Experimenting with frontend prototyping for a Baldur's Gate inspired browsergame with solar punk aesthetics using Claude today. I quite like the scientific notebook style that came out, probably inspired by the idea of collecting specimen from a world to explore 🤔. #gamedev

Experts are important for data engineering, how can we support them? What are the effects of a domain-specific language to understand data pipelines? Spoiler: Not faster or easier, but fewer mistakes. Mostly due to enforced code structure, less "magic" and using experience from spreadsheet software.

Invested my Steam € into buying WH40k Rogue Trader. I like it so far, though there are some wild pacing decisions and dialogue options. I wonder if it is just my nostalgia that makes me think earlier CRPGs had much slower, better done scripts?

Very niche post, but I've finally made it to my first 3k rating in WoW 🎉. Overall, I have to say I found the players to be much nicer than I anticipated, largely good vibes :).

One big effect of AI on my life is that I actually use VoiceInk for just talking to my PC and then transcribing into text areas quite a lot nowadays. Even this is posted from talking to the PC. Wild. The future is here.

I spent ~6h today just speaking with my computer using text to speech into Claude. Weird way to work, but really interesting 🤔. And felt quite productive as well.
