News about what's happening in New Orleans is mostly coming from outside of the state. That's because poverty & news deserts mean people don't know what's going on & can't protect themselves. & bec the LA governor supports these attacks on the poorest and most vulnerable

NEW data I've received: Just 5% of people detained by ICE since October 1 have had violent criminal convictions, 3/4 had no criminal convictions at all. Most "criminals" had immigration, traffic, and vice offenses. Not the "worst of the worst"...

I had managed to not update the Twitter app on my phone for over a year and maintain my niche little K-pop fandom community over there. But then I accidentally updated it and the vibes were instantly so horrible that I had to delete it entirely off my phone 🙁
