I think it comes from a mix of 2000's anime; Lucky Star, Memories of Phantasm, various ecchi trash.

I still don't know how I feel about it, like maybe my eyes are too big and they get weird placement sometimes. I feel like I should do more studies to gear it more towards artists I like.

I didn't quite appreciate the scope of what I was doing till I felt the effort of doing a few different gift pieces along with doing inktober, so I've fallen a day behind!

I really do love drawing though, and I will need to scale the inktobers back a bit to keep up as I go back to work tomorrow.

I do try way too hard sometimes, so I spend ages on proportions and still miss things. I feel like my inktobers have been lazily coloured in compared to bigger projects, but then I have to remember that last year they weren't even coloured in at all!

I would say soft shading with very friendly shapes but still proportioned as very much full bodied. It's a very appealing result that can be applied in many contexts/situations.

Also particular character quirks such as Cirno's chipped tooth and Satori's smug expression.
