My Dad believes this 😔
For years he’s been convinced Portland is a violent death trap.

Last winter he was driving up to Washington and his windshield wipers stopped working, during a storm.
He continued to drive an hour more without wipers, to avoid stopping in Portland to get them repaired.

Fox News is reinforcing the exact excuse he had: it’s just a silly trolling video.

I KNOW I’m not going to change his mind, but it hurts how he was able to brush off that disgusting video.

… Trump was just punching back because he’s angry at his badly he’s been treated: “No president has ever sacrificed as much as Trump has, or been attacked the way the Democrats are attacking him. I try not to talk about politics with my dad, but I showed him this video. I thought it MIGHT make a difference.
After convincing him that Trump REALLY did post it he said something like,
“It’s just a funny video, designed to upset overly sensitive people” (like me)-
But then he said…

2) makes a lot of sense NOW, given we just saw the FBI eagerly spread the ‘messages’ found on the bullets used by Kirk’s shooter.

It’s a fast way to get authorities to uncritically spread one’s propaganda or misleading ‘evidence.’
