Banning economy doesn't mean everyone gets to fly business. Trade offs exist, and pushing people into poverty because we ban smaller apartments that match the budgets of students and other young single people is not morally defensible.

Hopefully this is the first step in shifting away from home as a reward (for good luck) to a right.
