Prayers please for my friend's mom Suzanne. She was hit by a car last night. She is in the local trauma hospital with multiple injuries.

Carolina Moore's Advent quilt
Day 12 complete.
I didn't do this one the same way she did. I am thrilled with the fact that it not only worked, but that it came out exactly as I had hoped! This is possibly my lifetime best block to date.

Carolina Moore's Advent quilt
Day 12 complete.
I didn't do this one the same way she did. I am thrilled with the fact that it not only worked, but that it came out exactly as I had hoped! This is possibly my lifetime best block to date.

Today's adventures in quilting: I finally got around to cutting the fabric for a wall hanging I designed months ago. Hopefully it looks as good in real life as it did in my head way back then.

Is it normal for the pain to increase after an MRI? My foot is screaming tonight. The MRI took over twice as long as expected. My foot was strapped in well so I doubt it moved. I hope it is fixable.

Done except for chasing threads. Finished size 48"x48" going to my 2yo great grandson. Fabric line: Goodnight Moon FQ bundle, Batting: washable wool, Pattern: unknown. Pieced, quilted in the hoop, and bound by me.

I am making a scrappy binding for the baby quilt. The strip sizes range from 8" - 18" with alternating long, shortx3, long . . . I don't see me doing one like this again anytime soon. But, it's a perfect match and uses up most of the scraps. I keep it neat by rolling onto a cellphone case. #quiltsky
