I'm closing in on the finishline on a toddler quilt for a 3yo. I'm debating how much I want to quilt it. I'm thinking from here either adding diagonals or edge to edge embroidery. I was planning to do edge to edge until it occurred to me that less might feel softer & more fluffy. Input?

I had an anesthesia delay for nearly 18 hours the day my son was born. Never have a baby on New Years Eve in a major metropolitan area. They had one anesthesiologist for the entire hospital, a trauma center no less.

Oh my! Accuracy absolutely nailed!
How does it work with quilting? Will the longarmer curse us?
Will my arms curse me if I quilt the sandwich with the extra layer? Will it make the quilt warmer? Does it add much weight?

Today's quilting adventure was attending a sit & sew to make pillowcases for Children's Hospital. It was only 4 hours but I came home exhausted. I'm glad I did it. I enjoyed it, made several cases, taught a new person how to make them, & enjoyed the chit chat.
As an introvert, that's exhausting.

As I cleaned and oiled my sewing machine before sewing today, I realized my bobbin was very low. I won bobbin chicken with 15" of thread left on the bobbin. I also got to start today with a full bobbin because of my maintenance routine.
