NSUN is making the following demands, including calling on all trusts using Oxevision to suspend use immediately on the basis of safety and ethics concerns.

- We call on all mental health trusts using Oxevision to immediately suspend its use on the basis of safety and legality concerns.
- LIO/Oxehealth must allow trusts to exit contracts with them.
- We call on the Lampard Inquiry to take any urgent action possible to urge all trusts to suspend usage of Oxevision.
- Regulatory/oversight bodies such as NHS England and the Care Quality Commission must take long-overdue action to halt the use of Oxevision.
- The NHS Innovation Accelerator* must take accountability for and address the harms it has facilitated.

BREAKING: An NHS Trust has been forced to admit the potential misuse of surveillance technology Oxevision (now “LIO”) in psychiatric inpatient bedrooms at the Lampard Inquiry this week.

NSUN is calling on all trusts to suspend use of Oxevision immediately.

NSCH @combinednhs.bsky.social refer to Coventry and Warwickshire partnership and the savings they in turn apparently made by using Oxevision for conducting remote patient observations.

Both savings on bank staff by using Oxevision instead of 1:1 observations +reducing the minimum staffing numbers

I didn't name the trust before as I was only 90% sure I had correctly remembered. I took my oath extremely seriously and found it immensely stressful in case I made mistakes. Is that autistic literal thinking, moral integrity, awareness of perjury law?

In my evidence to the Lampard Inquiry on behalf of @stopoxevision.bsky.social, I refer to a NHS trust who outlined a business case for using Oxevision, justifying its cost through a reduction in ward staff numbers. This is @combinednhs.bsky.social North Staffordshire Combined healthcare

There is potential for people at Lio/ Oxehealth and EPUT to have to reckon with the consequences of their actions, the answers they give will form the recommendations that Baroness Lampard gives in the 2027 report.
