i'm in the stage of moving where i had to buy the supplies to brush my teeth before work, then brush my teeth at work because i accidentally packed my toothbrush/toothpaste away and couldn't find them.

the only place left to sit in my apartment is my bed. this will come back to bite me when i can't fall asleep tonight, but for now i'm enjoying being horizontal and watching it snow.

my friend is coming to help me move, and i'm nervous. i hate people seeing me vulnerable and in shambles. but he has a truck and big strong gym arms, so i unfortunately couldn't refuse 😭

putting my laundry away turned into making a pile of donation/dumpster stuff, and i'm surprised by how unsentimental i am about some things. i guess if some stories live in the back of a drawer long enough they lose their bite.

i've decided i'm going to shop for the bathroom first. it is within my scope of capabilities to order a shower curtain, bath mat, and new towels, and i won't be devastated if what i order sucks.
