Ensuring that every child gets a great public education is critical for future success – which is why the Administration’s cuts to special education supports are catastrophic. I was grateful to hear from NH families and leaders working to support students with disabilities today.
Granite State families are already dealing with rising costs everywhere they turn. The last thing they need is for their health insurance premiums to double. We need Republicans to work with us to reopen the government and protect affordable health care.
Families need us to reopen the government AND tackle skyrocketing health care costs. The two are not mutually exclusive, and we need a bipartisan agreement to get this done.
Small businesses are the backbones of our communities, but will face skyrocketing premiums because Congressional Republicans refuse to lower health care costs. I’m working to find a bipartisan solution to reopen the government and protect health care.

We’re now in the 3rd week of this government shutdown. I’m working to reach a bipartisan deal to reopen the government and protect health care.

What’s Speaker Johnson doing? Refusing to even call the House into session to address this crisis.
I’m focused on finding a bipartisan path to reopen the government and lower health care costs. Families are facing a potential doubling of their health insurance premiums – the damage this will do to families across NH and our health care system is real.
Two years ago today, Hamas terrorists launched a horrific attack on Israel. It is a day that lives in infamy, and we cannot forget those who were lost:
I’m going to keep working to find a bipartisan way to reopen the government and stop health care costs from rising even further.

People are facing a spike in health insurance premiums that may cost thousands of Granite Staters their health care.

On National VFW Day we honor the men and women who fought overseas in uniform and continue to serve our communities here at home.

Thank you for keeping our country safe, secure, and free.
Today we honor Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day and all of the families of service members that never returned home.

We owe you a debt that we can never fully repay but we will continue to honor and remember your loved ones.
I spoke with Emily Carrara, Amoskeag Health’s Substance Use Prevention and Recovery Programming Supervisor, about the devastating impacts that the Republican cuts to Medicaid will have for Granite Staters in recovery.
Dig Energy is using innovative drilling technology to make efficient, cost-effective geothermal heating and cooling systems.

Granite State businesses like Dig Energy are integral as we work together to build a clean energy future.
Great to speak to local organizations in Manchester today and hear about how they are using SUPPORT Act funding, which the Senate just renewed and expanded, to help fight the opioid crisis.
The Granite State PARTNERS program is working to expand New Hampshire’s health care workforce by recruiting and training more nurses.

It was great to stop by this morning and thank them for their work to fill New Hampshire’s health care workforce shortage.
Happy National Lobster Day!

Hope you have a claw-some day 🦞
It was great to join students and leaders in Somersworth to discuss how GEAR UP programs help thousands of NH students prepare for and succeed in high school and college. The Administration’s decision to revoke GEAR UP funding will hurt children — and I will continue to push back against it.
The last people you should turn to for medical advice are Secretary Kennedy and President Trump.
Every Granite Stater deserves access to safe, clean drinking water.

Today I met with leaders in Merrimack to discuss how we can prevent and clean up PFAS contamination in our water.
L’Shanah Tovah New Hampshire!

Wishing all celebrating Rosh Hashanah a sweet and happy new year.
I’ve heard repeatedly, including from business owners in Keene today, that President Trump’s tariffs are raising prices for Granite Staters and hurting small businesses.

The President must listen to the bipartisan majority in Congress and end these reckless tariffs.
Bottom line: Republicans are ripping away the health care that Americans count on. It's wrong and here’s what it means:

⬆️Higher costs for all Americans
⬇️Fewer Americans will have access to health care
