I have to explain this every single time I say I do magic. It usually goes "no not MTG well yes I used to play a lot, but no more like is this your card" every single time. You think I'd learn to be more articulate lol.

I now realize by practicing my slight of hand with my cat I have given him trust issues. He never believes my hands are empty and always looks to make sure I didn't drop anything when I go to pet him.

The Utah magic fest was awesome!!! I learned so much and got to meet some fantastic magicians. In other news my cat has found new and creative ways to punish me for not coming home Friday night (despite the fact he was with his favorite person all Friday and Saturday)

Turns out I really like working on making my shield. I had someone else cut it and put the boss on. But adding the fabric and painting it is a ton of fun. Not sure how many shields I can get before saruca starts to question though.
