Rangers now 0-for-3 on the power play. They're doing a lot of things right and getting no reward. Hockey can be like that.
If we get this right, we need to go in together on a lottery ticket.
I'm going to predict that Matt Rempe breaks the goal drought.
Rangers head into the first intermission down 1-0 to the Leafs. Anthony Stolarz came up big for Toronto to deny several high-danger chances. Rangers were 0-for-2 on the power play in the first period. Knies with the game's lone goal.
The Yankees mismanaging Anthony Volpe's shoulder injury shouldn't surprise anyone, given their history of downplaying injuries and poor track record. Read on: ⬇️

The Florida Panthers are already playing the 2025-26 season on 'expert difficulty.' Now that Dmitry Kulikov will be sidelined for five months, the Cats' defensive depth will be put to the test. More: ⬇️

The Toronto Blue Jays' offense awoke like a dormant volcano turned active to win ALCS Game 3 and put the pressure back on the Mariners. Read on: ⬇️

I just think they aren't planning to rush Perreault.... if this keeps up they might have to.
Agree with all of this. I don't think they want to rush Perreault but they might need to. Yup, need another offense driver on D.
I think Sullivan will do enough to get them into the dance.
The goal-starved Rangers will have to persist without center Vincent Trocheck until at least the start of November. More on Trocheck and #NYR here: ⬇️

It’s fine. It’s been 5 games. They looked good last night and got goalied. Sometimes you just have no luck.

I'm somewhere between. They're playing well, but there are absolutely concerns over scoring depth. Will Cuylle isn't a 1st liner yet. The bottom-6 play hard but have no pop. Who on the blueline is scoring more than 6 goals this season outside of Fox?

Rangers C Vincent Trocheck is going on LTIR because of his upper body injury and Will Borgen will not practice today due to a lower body injury. So the team has called up D Scott Morrow from Hartford to ensure the Rangers have 7 defensemen if Borgen can’t go in Toronto tomorrow.
How are we feeling today Rangers fans? You're either "They're playing fine, the luck will turn" or "The sky is falling."
The results should be better for the Rangers, who've generated enough quality chances and defended well... yet they've made history the wrong way by being held scoreless for the 3rd home game in a row, setting an unwanted NHL record. More on #NYR here: ⬇️

Rangers Make Unfortunate History in Record-Breaking Home Goal Drought
Despite doing plenty of things right, the New York Rangers have set an NHL record by failing to record a goal over three home contests to open the season.

Henrique scores the empty-netter. Oilers 2-0 Rangers. Blueshirts about to go three full home games without scoring a goal.
Maybe try plugging the Rangers back in again???
Rangers trail 1-0 to the Oilers after two periods. Blueshirts 0-for-2 on the power play. They've had lots of chances.
