Practicing for Halloween. Why should black cats have all the fun? #caturday
And what’s up with the random capitalization, autocorrect?
Very cool. You may already know this but your library may provide access to the Post if you want to see it.
Ciao, babies. See you next month. #ewgc
Hot dog! I've been waiting for this one! #ewgc
Hello everyone. Got here very late, which is okay because I haven't read many prepubs lately. I think that will change soon. #ewgc
A love story between two lonely immigrants, Mira and Tahliil, in present day England. If only Mira were not already married. BELGRAVE ROAD by Manish Chauhan is an affecting debut, perfect for readers of Colm Toibin and Alice McDermott. #ewgc @librarylovefest.bsky.social
I think they're all looking at La Bella Luna.
Cinnamon had so much fun talking like a pirate yesterday, she’s doing an encore for #caturday. Aargh and where are my chicken flavored greenies, me hearty? #cats

A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say.

This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand.

All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.
His reputation only grows. Thanks for letting us meet him vicariously. Safe and smooth travels home.
Oh my goodness, you met Mick Herron. What a wonderful place the world can be.

Because cats are all about the food. And sleep.
Cinnamon says thanks. 🙏
He was amazing. A compelling mixture of ruthlessness and vulnerability.
He comes to NC periodically to do Noir at the Bar here. He’s a great reader of his work. Enjoy Bouchercon!

Been counting the days until CLOWN TOWN drops & I can finally discuss it, because, what a book. I fervently hope I get to see Mick Herron in person someday. In the meantime, this interview will have to do. I especially like his explanation of why poets are such good writers of prose.

Librarians say it’s always easy to answer a question when you already know the answer. Today’s Connections was a little bit like that. There was one category that was key.
