This came out Friday too… one of the best meloblack albums I’ve heard so far this year!

Not a lot of people talking about this one from last week, but if you like MOL or Deafheaven, you’ll love this.

Thormesis is one of my favorite bands that very few have heard of. They released an incredible new album today, and I’ve had it on constant repeat. If you like post-black with tons of melody, you’ll love this.

Listening to thousands of new albums every year is fun, but work. Some mornings you just want to revisit favorites… and this is one of my all-time favorites.

Same! I’ve heard the album 6 times now and it’s gotten more tolerable. The rest is so damn good that I think I can learn to accept the cleans. My website is literally harshvocals.com so I’m right with you on minimal clean singing and only if it’s well done haha

This new Ba’al albums is 95% aoty list quality and 5% bizarre clean singing and spoken word sections that I hate.

I don’t know what to think about it.

The world is a horrible place, but at least there’s music.
It feels like a Terrasite kinda night.
Mail day. Both of these albums are very fun.
I like Solar Paroxysm slightly better, but both are phenomenal. We need more Mare Congitum!
