The inaccuracy of language around AI is a serious, SERIOUS detriment to understanding. AI that makes a goomba move is not ML, ML is not an LLM, LLMs aren't even image diffusion models! "AI" as an umbrella term for so many disparate technologies is a prime vector for the harm being wrought.

After all, it was one of the first sectors to deploy A.I. programming in the 1980s, with the four ghosts who chase Pac-Man each responding differently to the player's real-time movements.

Although looked down on by other Wizards, and forbidden from attaining "Arch Mage" status, there is no debating that Warlocks can amass and exert immense power rapidly.

Perhaps it is the rapidity and lack of full understanding of that power that so often leads to such short, terminal, careers.

Although encouraged to take on "traditional" Adventurer aesthetics, some adventuring AI prefer to take on more esoteric shapes and methods of hunting monsters, for hard to explain reasons.
