in terms of themes i like to explore with harrow, i'm living at the intersection of religion and faith/zealotry, chivalry, devotion and obsession, violence, surrender and ego death, sacrifice and martyrdom, even bdsm as i recently found out

all that gorgeous art of jean discoelysium gave me such harrow facial hair brainworms. i didn't intend for him to always have the thick caterpillar but it is meant to be. i'll let him shave the sides occasionally later on as well

am about halfway through the catholicism for dummies book. learning about the mass now. earlier in the book they mentioned all kinds of different roles clergymen and laypeople perform in church service, and i don't remember all of them rn but it's clear that running a church is not a one man job

ok i finished the knight manual book, it was fun and well informative, i got some good inspiration from it. would have liked to read the bigger book too but i'll return it tomorrow along with the others, perhaps i'll take it back some other time
