Yep not picking up enough points against teams around us doesn’t exactly instil much confidence in beating the top sides. Result? Pessimistic realism.

Quite liked the quarter final group format (2 chances) then although we went out without losing guess that’s why it was changed.

Look at #saintsfc in 81/82 we went into April top and then won 2 of our last 9 to finish 7th. What a player Keegan (30 goals) was and he was the only ever present too. Includes the greatest ever team goal by Channon in the 3.2 home defeat to LFC (you tube it) that squad 😎 🥰
