The writer said the secret to it is "the tracks are broken up, it goes with the anime guidebook, and it's a masquerade," which is why I think it has to do with songs, but there's so many parallels in the writing too haha

Honestly my first thought was actually Elements fitting here, Water/Fire/Ether's themes and imagery were evoked so strongly in this. But we already have dedicated lore stories for those songs so I don't think they meant to double dip (and the writer said it specifically has to do with the anime so)

Maybe Georgette2 goes in between tracks 5-6, to evoke the imagery of Doloris having forgotten about witches and seeking the castle again. Then I guess self-titled is after track2 (welcoming to the banquet) and Kao is after track4 🤔 Much to think about

I haven't been able to stop thinking about how the writer of the witch drama said there's something more to it that nobody picked up on hrmm. Might write out all the references I picked up in it to sort my thoughts out (the tracks corresponding with the anime songs is my best guess rn)

I will never shut up about Uika as long as this character has the most intense horrific thoughts swimming around in her head even when she's acting ^__^ on the outside. Her mask is her skin everybody. It's the moments where she seems the most put together that you must think about the hardest

Just once I need to properly see how this girl is feeling after an Ave Mujica concert. Not Uika the Faker but Hatsune. I will never stop thinking about this. She becomes so emotionally devastated on stage then just happily makes dinner for Sakiko like nothing happened between them emotionally? NAHHH

This about sums up my feelings as well. I definitely have fun with Hatsune on here for instance! but there's a huge difference between playing into things that you're meant to have fun with, and just seeing depictions of mental illness as something silly and laughable

Yeah. Admittedly I can't think of many scenes in the anime I'd want to see memed because I really do just take the whole thing seriously orz but at the very least they could not hand pick the most traumatic ones, surely.......

Yeah... how genuine Avemygo is about portraying mental illness is such a big part of what drives my love for it, we do not need to be doing this :'/ I try to just ignore these memes when I see them in the fandom but pushing it officially leaves a really bad taste in my mouth

Yeah, that's a good way to put it. Like, the show would NEVER make fun of these things? If it was just one 4koma it'd be one thing but that's 4 so far that just feel super urk... it feels like a condensed version of every fandom joke I absolutely despise seeing but pushed officially
