That's what our episode today is about! I really enjoyed the doc as well even though I'm not super into their music, and gained a lot of respect for them.
Happy 35th anniversary to @livingcolour.com Time's Up! Here is a shameless repost of last week's episode, where we discussed both Vivid and Time's Up, and picked a "winner" between the two. (There's no loser, they're both amazing).
Join us for a review of Amy Berg's documentary 'It's Never Over, Jeff Buckley'. We discuss our thoughts on the documentary, and why Jeff Buckley should be in the Rock Hall. #JeffBuckley #RockHall

This was so, so beautiful. If you have a chance to see it in the theater, don't miss it!
Here’s an exclusive clip from ‘It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley,’ Amy Berg’s new documentary about the beloved singer/songwriter from @magnoliapics.bsky.social.

The film hits theaters today and will be followed by a 26-minute screening of unseen video from Buckley’s Cambridge concert on 2/19/94.
I immediately thought of the "demonic raisins, I rebuke you" line from the SNL Church Chat sketch with Jim and Tammy Faye lol:

You could just tell that it was important to him to give that to fans, and to do one last show for them. It was almost like he couldn't be at peace until he did. It was a very brave and selfless thing to do, and has just really stuck with me.
But to end on a positive, BTTB was SO inspirational and brave of Ozzy, and it was the proper tribute he deserved. What a beautiful thing!!
If you pay attention since the Rock Hall has gone all in on the iHeart Radio stuff, there really has been a vibe at the last 2 ceremonies of "we can't have these icky old people front and center". I know that's harsh to say, but it really is how it's come across, and they need to hear that.
It could very well be that! It's hard to know with the Rock Hall since they are so cloak & dagger about everything. Given they told Lou Gramm from Foreigner he wasn't allowed to sing the songs he wanted & they minimized his involvement in the Foreigner set, that's why I'm suspicious it was them.
Join us as we chat about the upcoming Rock Hall 2025 ceremony. We also remember Sly Stone, Brian Wilson and Ozzy Osbourne, and discuss how the Rock Hall could handle paying tribute to them in the ceremony. #RockHall #RockHall2025
