she also obviously lived in a rural area. ppl who live in cities don’t get to judge bc most of us don’t get our seafood from the seaside. we have them brought over to markets and supermarkets, pre-selected for us. idk. i’m just super bummed out about this.

she wasn’t trying to be adventurous, she was just vlogging an outing/picnic where they cooked a mixed basket of shells and she ate a toxic one. yes maybe she should have known better than to eat unknown shells, but imo it could happen to anyone and the internet reactions have been depressing

SUPER interesting how the first half of the comic slowly unpeels the layers of the ML’s character and his traumas but the FL stands by him but remains completely opaque. they are both super competent but she is physically much stronger.

it’s like a cross between St Tail & Ap*thecary Diaries in the sense that our FL, the MC, is a pharmacist by day and vigilante superhero (who “curses” ppl with magical potions) and the ML is nominally a cop.

i’ve been pretty free from webtoon brainrot these days but i picked up Potion Witch again bc i remember liking it and now i’m really liking it. case-centered structure with romance and equal-opportunity hurt/comfort

feeling a bit emo that i didn’t really get to enjoy the snacks i brought home or even share them properly… my younger bro (at my mom’s encouragement) took 1 bag of tamarind-banana chips w/ him (and entire bags of other stuff, again at my mom’s encouragement), my dad finished the other bag of chips 🥲

my first bayawak sighting 🥹 the species that TH is known for is apparently the biggest! i never got to see any at home though so i can’t compare 😔
