i'm sure there are settings i could adjust in obs but i've just been neglecting to do it until now. maybe also worth investing in a pop filter if i plan on returning to recording my own vids

editing other people's footage has made me aware of how awful my mic is about picking up static background noise

like this is a segment where i'm not talking at all (the peak meter of my mic track hovers around -20db as well)

shifting my sleep schedule has actually been so good for my productivity, it’s such a good feeling to have gotten 6hrs of work done on a variety of things by 10am since i woke up at like 2am

the best way to improve at what you do is to keep putting more care and effort into each new project! i’ve been following that mindset since getting back into editing in march and i plan to try and keep getting more skilled in all forms of video-making moving forward! (random positivity post)
