comms update: got 5 lined today, none with colour fills. So 5 to finish and four to start. roughly on schedule. I'll probs have 5 finished tomorrow, and the rest started tomorrow too, and finished on friday.

Also, iPhone autocorrect changed the title to: Prehistroic Planer: I’ve Aged

Comms update: did 2 more in full, a third 99% done, just a minor correction is needed, and a fourth where I really fucked up the pose and couldn’t finish. Also glacier clear stream distracted me. I def think I can get the one I didn’t finish today + 4 more done tomorrow tho

hmm. even with spending all morning getting glasses, and then having a surprise nap in the afternoon, I still got the lines for 4 comms done (no colour fill tho). tomorrow I SHOULD have nothing else going on, so I bet I can get at least 5, maybe 6 done. But I don't want to get too eager.

I think about the reddit post where a couple's infant was summoned to court as a witness, and everyone they questioned was like "yes, your son will need to be in court, or else there will be consequences". And the poster never updated after their initial post.

I wonder how viable this process of taking all invoices up front, rough sketching everything the next day, and then spending the rest of the week drawing uninterrupted will work. Depends on how many I can finish in one day I guess

OK, all invoices sent out. ROUGH sketching tomorrow, regardless of if invoices have been paid or not. THEN, hopefully I'll be able to do 3-4 comms a day, which is what I'm usually able to do for these quick sketches.

half the invoices sent, I'll send the other half later today. weirdly exhausting. I think tomorrow I'll just spend the day doing rough sketches, making sure everyone's getting what they want, then I can spend all week just drawing.

hmm. realising 16 comms and contacting at once. I'll send all the invoices now, and get in contact with everyone individually closer to when I start, except for the 2 who I want to clarify some things with. No rush on paying the invoice either.

I also love seeing my adopts in the wild. Both because I love seeing my designs being used, and I love seeing my designs drawn by other people. It's overall so satisfying

It really helps with my confidence when someone comes back to commission me even if I've had to delay their previous comm or had some poor communication. I'm always afraid of becoming one of those artists who becomes infamous for being a bad commission taker lol
