Excited to share our new paper in Emotion!

High-quality listening evokes Kama Muta, a social emotion of being “moved by love.” Across 3 studies (N=1,126), both speakers & listeners felt more moved when listening was of high-quality. @kgdemarree.bsky.social

I was shocked to watch the recent Congress hearing. This letter from 7 Nobel laureates mentions 4 listening papers by @nettaweinstein.bsky.social , myself, and our collaborators. I hope universities adopt the suggested workshops and lectures to combat antisemitism and extremism through listening.
