Okay, I thought about doing a tease for Robbie and Mizuki but like what if this entire time Mizuki was trying really hard to go out with Robbie but Robbie is like, "I thought we are already in a relationship?"

Im not saying every half kid in anime has to have some sort of tragic backstory because of their heritage. That is also one thing I dislike about a lot of american media but I am also tired of the "all so perfect" character because half kids are gremlins as your average japanese kid

For me, it's was just to bring up some issues in Okinawa that is always overlooked in favor of the "hawaii" image. I was honestly getting tired of the wasian representation because most of them are written by japanese people who wants to romanticize our experience. (Hard look at kanata)
