Big backpack boom boom cannons are always a cool feature to me, and the spec2 coloring is just so much better than the original. I do have the regular MG blast impulse in the backlog, because Bandai likes to announce cool things after I've bought stuff I wouldn't have if I knew about it. Bastards. 🤣

A pretty simple, but solid build for an MG from the early aughts. Couldn't think of many poses to put it in though, since I'm too scared to try and set it on an action base. Still, looks cool for a crabby guy.

Lfrith Pre-Production type is a solid build, just like the Lfrith. I only went mildly mad when assembling the backpack and the little mines. This kit was a good reminder to build some more of my WFM backlog, as the kits from this series are very good.

I enjoyed this build, but ran into (user/skill) issues with top coating this, making it take longer than I would have liked. Despite that, I still think it turned out okay. Very tricky to pose on an action base though due to a rather weak support peg. Hope Johnny's proud.

Been procrastinating a bit at fixing a poorly applied top coat to a model I'm working on, but I finally managed to finish the last top coat I was willing to deal with on it earlier. While waiting for that to dry though, I slapped this lil guy together real quick.

But I also enjoy that meditative process, the slow putting together of things. If you're finding that it's not that fun of a process for you, that's okay too. I find myself more drawn to straight building than painting, because yeah, it IS a lot of work. So, understandable, lol.

Panel lining really makes a kit pop, in my experience.

I try and treat gunpla as a very meditative hobby. It's not about how long it takes to build the thing, but the journey along the way. I'll throw on tunes or an audiobook while building and try and relax through the process.

My F90 GKQ Type. Tried my best to get the perfect balance of maneuverability from the Q, flexible offence with the G, and solid (beam) defense with the K. Also, I think it looks neat.
