Having to use physical media again and I snapped a micro SD card in half and all memory sticks somehow suck. I have been spoilt by wireless transfers.

The new iPad / iPhone OS is so buggy it’s infuriating. I wish I could downgrade and get it actually usable to type in text boxes and hit back again.

This is a personal hatred I have. They should be required to show average traffic in the ad, I want to see this car stuck behind a bin lorry whilst trying to navigate a one way system.

Completely inconsistent which maybe isn’t surprising. Bluesky wants it for dms, other things don’t care. My default will be to ask people to text or email me if they want to get ahold of me now I think.

They made me feel kind of nauseous and weird but it was certainly better than sobbing in pain on the CT scanner. I wrote a whole thing about the ordeal thats on my profile somewhere if you want the specifics.

Not even slightly ok but at least I mostly don’t need painkillers multiple times every day. Opiates are super weird and not at all fun I discovered.

I went for my first follow up appointment after the shoulder surgery and somehow after finding out just how many screws are in my arm now I keep wanting to burst into tears whenever I think about it for some reason.

I think nothing beats self hosting here, though that has its own different disadvantages.
I settled on using a free tier of netlify just because it can compile my static site from a push but I would not count on it being free or even up forever. Seems fairly reliable though.

I keep feeling like I should be more productive and then get exhausted just trying to do something tiny. Or I realise how right-hand dominant the world is and I can’t physically do it with one arm. I really appreciate now how flexible things were before.

DuckDuckGo has introduced a new feature allowing users to filter out AI-generated images from search results, addressing growing concerns over synthetic content overwhelming authentic visuals online.
The filter can be activated through a dropdown in the Images tab, search settings, or by using a dedicated AI-free domain: noai.duckduckgo.com. The system relies on curated blocklists, including uBlockOrigin’s Huge AI Blocklist, to detect and suppress AI-generated imagery.
While not perfect, it significantly reduces synthetic content visibility. This move sets DuckDuckGo apart from competitors like Google and Bing by giving users direct control over their exposure to AI-generated material.
