I mean Thanksgiving is a national holiday here. I can’t speak for yours, but it’s pretty ingrained into the culture where you get to see all your extended family - which is relatively rare at least for folks in the US so peeps like it a lot

I’ve messed around with this thought narratively before, and I’ve come up with a solution I enjoy! In the setting, blood is equivalently water - sates the thirst aspect - where vore is done to sate hunger. Like when a nice cut of beef has all those juices spilling out of em, it’s savory!

We murder cats in this lizard, it's fast, easy, and free! Messed around with some dialogue, tried to make it harder to 'hear' the cat as she got deeper into the lizard - not sure how that effect came across in the end, though. Hope y'all enjoy! :>
