Hey there!

I’m Greyn (they/them), an artist, hairdresser, and a feral beast in human form. Approach with caution!
I enjoy drawing fan art, but I have love/hate relationships with fandoms.
I like to read comics, and this year I’m planning to draw a story of my own.

Check out my delightful feeds!

Thanks 😌 the tits are already gathering up on the fir trees across the windows.
I didn’t know they like walnuts too! I bet that’s quite a sight 😄

I discovered that my battle net account is still operational and it means I’ll gladly submerge my depressed ass into StarCraft cause this is literally the best game ever made and I don’t take objections to it 😌💅✨

Sunflower feast! 🌻 Mine are finally coming closer to the city and routinely scouting window frames for remaining spoods in hiding. Gotta think of this year’s feeder configuration soon for the winter

They are great, but unfortunately bright sunlight renders them useless if you want to have a nice outdoor read 🥲

Here's a little cartoon for #WorldOctopusDay 🐙
Ink and watercolor cartoon showing an octopus peeking out of a coconut shell underwater. The octopus says: "I've been working on a novel, but I'm afraid to show anyone. Maybe I'll put one page out there." A fish swims up to look at the page and says, "That stinks!" The octopus disappears inside the shell and says, "Everyone's a critic."

An oak tree (supposedly..) and spanish moss 🌳
Colored pencils drawing in cold green hues depicting an oak tree covered in spanish moss, growing on the grassy lawn with darkness on the background

Color study from a photo.
Turned out more saturated and lighter in values but still pretty decent.

I made a couple discoveries in the process, if anyone is interested in some art tips - they’ll be in comments

A colored pencil study of an outskirts of town with panel houses and wired fence. It’s a dusk scene with street lights glowing a warm orange light onto a fence and with the closer house still somewhat in the purple darkness Same drawing, but as a photo of the sketchbook page taken

Thanks 😔 yeah, it’s pretty brutal

I wish I never started to draw in photoshop, it really fucked up the way I approach drawing in digital even in other programs. Because their shitty brush didn’t have stabilization for years to come, I can’t unlearn making these fast jerky lines which I NEVER do on paper. And it’s a lame habit rn ☹️

How fun - the answer is BOTH, and I’m since depressed as fuck, like haven’t been in months, it really sucks bad and idk... I hope I’ll tumble through this somehow

Life as a female biological organism is always “fun” af… for instance, this perpetual guessing game of “is this a depressive episode or you’re getting a visit from aunt Flo in a few days?” Isn’t it terrifying that you can feel almost suicidal just because your stupid hormones rearrange themselves?

You should watch Dellamorte Dellamore (Cemetery Man)

One of the best feelings is watching a movie you kinda liked, but was confused about, for the 2nd time and then go “I get it now. I finally do”.
But then there’s certain ones which seem deep when you’re a teenager and revisiting those is really awkward. Growing in and out of things is weird…

Watch Cargo 200, it’s “good” disturbing in the way that at least has a point and an actual social commentary, and not just totally sucks like that one. Kinda like Texas Chainsaw Massacre vibes but set in rotting USSR.
